Yesterday, the much-awaited launch event- Unpacked 2023 of the tech giant company, Samsung took place in which the company launched some of its flagship devices that have been earlier making a lot of buzz over the internet. At the event held yesterday in Seoul, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S9 series, and Galaxy Watch 6 series made their debut. The Galaxy Watch 6 series included two smartwatches- Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.
During the time of the launch of this series, the company only revealed the US pricing of this series and it was available for pre-order in selected markets from yesterday only. But now Samsung has officially revealed the Indian pricing of this series also confirming the Galaxy Watch 6 series is now available for pre-order in India also.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series: Pricing & Availability in India
The Galaxy Watch 6 comes in two dial sizes- 40mm and 44mm. The 40mm variant with BT connectivity is priced at Rs.29,999 while the 40mm variant with LTE connectivity is priced at Rs.33,999. The Galaxy Watch 6 44mm variant with BT connectivity arrives with a price tag of Rs.32,999 and the 44mm variant with LTE connectivity is priced at Rs.36,999.
The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic also comes in two dial sizes- 43mm and 47mm. The 43mm variant with BT connectivity is priced at Rs.36,999 and the 43mm variant with LTE connectivity is priced at Rs.40,999. The 47mm variant with BT connectivity arrives with a price tag of Rs.39,999 and the 47mm variant with LTE connectivity is priced at Rs.43,999.
This newly launched series has been made available for pre-order from today only at Samsung’s official website. Interested buyers can avail of a cashback offer of Rs.6,000 with an Rs.4,000 upgrade bonus for the smartwatches.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series: Specifications
The Galaxy Watch 6 40mm variant sports a 1.3-inch Super AMOLED display while the 44mm variant features a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display. On the other hand, Galaxy Watch 6 classic 43mm variant features a 1.3-inch Super AMOLED display, and the 47mm variant sports a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display. Both the smartwatches are powered by Samsung Exynos W930 SoC which is paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Galaxy Watch 6 variants house a 300mAh battery while Galaxy Watch 6 Classic variants house a 425mAh battery. The smartwatches run on One UI 5 Watch based on WearOS 4.
