Xiaomi launched Watch 2 Pro and Smart Band 8 alongside Xiaomi 13T series
Xiaomi has finally launched the much-awaited Xiaomi 13T series during its launch event in Berlin. This was not the only showstopper but Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro and Smart Band 8 were also launched. If we talk about the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro comes with key specs like an AMOLED display, powered by Qualcomm’s W5 + Gen 1 processor, and dual-band positioning.

The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro which is a Wear OS smartwatch comes with a 1.43-inch wide AMOLED display that sports 466×466 pixels resolution and up to 600 nits of peak brightness. It comes with 20 pre-installed watch faces for new looks every day.
Coming on to its processor it is powered by the Snapdragon W5 + Gen 1 processor paired with 2GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. For accurate positioning, it gets dual-band GNSS positioning and also comes equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC connectivity. It weighs 54.5 g without its strap and comes in a 5ATM water-resistant body.
For fitness freaks and health-concerned people, it has 24/7 heart rate, blood oxygen tracking, sleep, and stress tracking. It also supports tracking for over 150 sports modes. Additionally, it also features an impedance sensor for measuring fat percentage and muscle mass.

It comes in two models: the Bluetooth and the cellular model. For the Bluetooth model, it’s 495 mAh battery can go up to 65 hours of usage whereas for the cellular version, it works for 55 hours. Charging is done via a two-pin magnetic charger.
Its pricing starts from €269 and goes to €329 for the eSIM variant.
Xiaomi Smart Band 8
Xiaomi Smart Band 8 which has already been launched in China has finally been launched for the global market. It was recently announced by a Polish distributor and before then appeared on a certification website. This pill-shaped Smart Band comes with a 1.62-inch AMOLED screen that sports 490×192 pixels resolution. It comes with 200 plus watch faces and some interactive watch faces that let you play games like ping pong, shooter, trivia, and more.
Xiaomi Band 8 supports more than 150 sports modes including walking, running, cycling, weightlifting, swimming, and more. Xiaomi also offers stylish strap options, and running clip accessories that can be attached to shoes. It can work for 16 days with typical usage and 6 days with AOD mode on. Similar to the former one it can also be charged via a two-pin charger.
It has been priced at €39.9.
