Snapdragon Summit 2023 to Start in the Month of October 2023, Confirms Qualcomm
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit days are to be conducted in the month of October 2023 ahead of its usual schedules. Officially announced by Qualcomm.

Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit Days
Qualcomm has officially confirmed to conduct its Snapdragon Summit days of 2023 in Maui, Hawaii starting from the 24th of October to the 26th of the same month. Considering its previous Snapdragon Summits which were usually conducted in the months of November and December, the American semiconductor company is planning to conduct the event much earlier than its usual schedules.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the Oryon processors along with a few other chipsets are expected to be unveiled at the event.
Vivo’s X100 series, the iQOO 12 series, Xiaomi 14 series, OnePlus 12, the Redmi K70 series, the OPPO Find X7 series, and many other flagship devices are expected to be announced as well
For those of you who didn’t know, we had in the past revealed the expected specifications of the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and as per this, the Gen 3 chipset is to have an architecture of 2 + 3 + 2 + 1 next-gen Arm cores. The chipset is also expected to be integrated with the Adreno 750 GPU and is expected to operate on the Linux kernel 6.1 and the upcoming Android 14 operating system.
A tipster on the Twitter platform had also mentioned that the chipset is likely to have two variants for smartphones and tablets/laptops. According to what has been stated by the tipster, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for smartphones will have an architecture with 2 Cortex A520 cores, 3 Cortex A720 cores (that are clocked lower), 2 Cortex A720 cores (clocked higher), and a Cortex X4 core. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 that might be launched for tablets and laptop devices is expected to have a core configuration of 2 + 4 + 2 cores with 2 Cortex A520 cores, 4 Cortex A720 cores, and 2 Cortex X4 cores.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is also likely to be made using TSMC’s 4nm process technology and is expected to be 50% faster than the already launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
As mentioned, the chipset is likely to be announced at the Snapdragon Summit 2023, after which we’ll be able to confirm more about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
