PUBG Lite Update introduces Lite Pass Season 2, New Game Currencies and much more
The Lite Pass Season 2 update of the game will run for eight weeks.
The most popular online multiplayer battle royale game PUBG Lite has announced its new update which comes up with several new features, including the second season of Lite Pass and the Survival Title game mode. It also presents two new coins in the game called Chicken Medal and Silver Bullet. Additionally, there is a new 4v4 mode where two four-member squads will fight for glory.
Talking about the two newly introduced coins in the game, Chicken Medals can be utilized to exchange with paid boxes. Chicken Medals can be accessed by the players from daily login events, challenge missions, daily missions, playday and community events. In this latest update, a new button will be displayed when buying boxes that can be used instead of spending L-Coins. Depending on the price of the box, the exchange price may differ, but by default, there are four chicken medals for one box.
On the other hand, when it comes to Silver Bullets, players can purchase it when they discard their skin items. Earlier, scraping an item would give them BP or the Silver fragments, but from now on, players will receive Silver Bullets as an exchange. Items can be purchased at the Silver Bullet Store with this mode of currency.
The Lite Pass Season 2 update of the game will run for eight weeks. It has already started (from 10th October) and will end on 12 December with scheduled maintenance which will take place on 5th December. Like the previous season, there are daily missions and challenge missions where players can win rewards and earn XP. For those who wish to get more rewards, they can buy the Lite Pass: Premium and Lite Pass: Premium Plus packages.
With a 4v4 mode, finally Team Deathmatch is coming on PUBG Lite. Two squads of four-members will fight on a small deserted warehouse map and the first team to reach 40 kills will win the round.
The latest update has a lot of bug fixes as well.
Stay tuned for more updates.
