“Lockdown Mode” enabled in iOS, effective in safeguarding phones from cyberattacks

It looks like Apple took a hell of a lot of inspiration from the 2020 pandemic that hit the country beyond the next level. Now the brand offers a “Lockdown Mode” feature present in iOS 16 for users to have a better mobile experience, which is finally active in every system.

Apple earlier this year launched the lockdown feature for users to have a safe in-user experience. As per the manual information , Lockdown Mode is an extreme, optional protection to safeguard you from spying and cyber attacks that sometimes find ways to remotely hack into your iPhone without any user interaction.

Now that this feature is active and ready to use, attackers can not easily sneak out anymore and take advantage unknowingly. iOS users need to switch the mode on and enjoy it with zero stress.

Because these zero-click attacks are undetectable and take advantage of flaws in core iPhone features such as calling, sending messages, and web browsing, Apple makes sure to patch the security flaws as they are discovered, which is often by security experts who discover spyware on victims’ phones. However, there is an ongoing battle between Apple and the spyware developers who have targeted thousands of journalists, activists, and human rights activists till date.
