Nothing Phone 1 Overview : Features , Pricing and many more

Amidst all the publicity and promotion, the Nothing Phone 1 has arrived on the market. The smartphone is catering to the midrange segment under Rs 40,000 with 32,000 as starting price. The device consists of three RAM and storage options. It is available in both colours: Black and White. The phone possesses a good camera, and a striking design, and is pleasingly affordable.

Design Overview

The overall shape and in-hand resembles the iPhone 12/13 Pro Max, with very flat sides and rounded corners but slightly smaller. It is less wide horizontally and quite a bit lighter, which makes it more comfortable to hold. The flat dimensions furnish a mature and powerful look. The most striking feature is its semi- transparent back design which helps take a glance at the phone’s internals. The bottom part of the back plate design is marked after the New York City subway map, there are four strips of light on the backside of the phone including two that wrap around the camera module and the wireless charging coil respectively.

Display

The 6.55-inch OLED screen is vigorous, with a conventional max radiance of 500 nits and a peak max brightness of 1,200 nits. The screen looks terrific most of the time, with a 120Hz refresh rate furnishing sleek animations, colors looking punchy, and aesthetically attractive proportional bezels on all four sides. Maximum brightness is a bit lower than most 2022 flagship phones. There is an optical in-display fingerprint scanner placed very low on the screen.

Camera

The real camera system comprises a 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor with an F/ 1.9 aperture and a 50 MP Samsung JN 1 ultra-wide. Nothing Phone 1 has also exhibited very wonky colors, such as an extremely warm tone. Stabilization is good with the main camera, but ultra-wide has very bad electronic image stabilization. You can see all the issues in the video sample below.
