Samsung Bixby Voice assistant gets a makeover with an Indianized accent
Bixby voice assistant was launched by the tech giant company Samsung in the year 2017 and since then Bixby has seen many evolutions from an intelligent voice assistant for users to an open, scalable AI platform that is available anywhere, anytime across mobile devices, wearables, and digital appliances. In the year 2021, Samsung introduced support for Indian English as part of Bixby 3.0 for Indian consumers to make the user experience easy and improved.
Well, Samsung has once again arrived with the latest update in August 2023 for Bixby. Earlier the app was able to understand the Indianized English accent when spoken to but with this latest update, Bixby will now respond in the Indianized English accent also.
The company has made the official announcement of this update on its community page. The new feature will help users in getting a more Indianized experience while interacting with Bixby on their Samsung devices. It is supported across all Bixby-enabled devices such as mobiles, tablets, smartwatches, TV, and Family hub. With the help of this latest update, Samsung sticks to providing user-friendly technology that meets the needs of its diverse user base.
How to enable the latest feature on the Bixby voice assistant?
- To update to the latest version of the Bixby application, go to Bixby settings>About Bixby
- Users can use Voice 1 by setting the language to “English(India)”& the voice style to “Voice1.” Go to Bixby settings>Language and voice style
