Twitter Becomes Almost Complete With The Rebranding With ‘X’
Twitter has updated its Android app by replacing the Blue Bird logo with a new logo and name as part of the rebranding of Twitter. The ‘X’ is the new name and logo for the app right now. The app’s description is updated to “The X app is the trusted digital town square for everyone”.
With the app, users can post content, join public conversations, and stay up to date on breaking news. Users will also be able to go live with spaces for audio, stream live video, and communicate privately with direct messages.
People can subscribe now to the Blue subscription to expand their reach with a blue check mark. The platform added that “Earn a living creating exclusive content for your paid subscribers and share in the ad revenue generated in reply to your posts”.
It is mentioned by the platform that users can upload and watch videos for up to 3 hours. As the Android app has been upgraded, the update of the iOS application is yet to be done and no one knows when.
Elon Musk has been hinting in his posts that gradually all the birds will be given goodbyes. The X logo replaced the bird on the web version of Twitter on Monday. Musk also updated the official account’s name to ‘X’ along with its picture.

Elon Musk acquired Twitter for US $44 billion on October 27, 2022. Since the acquisition, the platform has been criticized for facilitating an increase in content containing hate speech.
Linda Yaccarino, the former head of ad sales for NBC Universal, succeeded Musk as CEO on June 5, 2023. In July 2023, Musk announced that Twitter would be rebranded to X and that the Twitter bird logo would be phased out.
