Users will soon be able to use multiple WhatsApp accounts in one app with multi account feature
There are a number of social media platforms out there on the internet but WhatsApp has another kind of identity and usage for all of us. At Least as soon as it is opened it doesn’t expose you to a bunch of time-consuming reels, posts, and feeds. WhatsApp is nowadays busy testing new features for the user that we can get to see in upcoming updates.
Recently WhatsApp was found testing companion mode for mobile phones by enabling the feature for some beta testers. This means in the future users will be able to link their existing WhatsApp account to a secondary mobile phone, as we do in the case of WhatsApp Web while logging in Desktop. Now WhatsApp is rolling out a multi-account feature that is available to some beta testers. This new update is being rolled out through the Google Play Beta Program bringing the version up to 2.23.17.8.
Multi-account feature
The multi-account feature will allow users to add additional accounts to the same WhatsApp app. According to the image shared by WABETAINFO, an arrow will appear next to the QR code button. As soon as you tap on it, you will be able to switch to another account. This will soon allow users to keep their private chats and conversation in an account that will be directly accessible from the same WhatsApp app.
Earlier this thing required a third-party parallel app in order to use two WhatsApp accounts on the same smartphone but soon that app won’t have any usage. WhatsApp is actively busy rolling out updates for users and we recently saw the screen share feature, Chat Lock feature. WhatsApp is also working on a few other features that we can see in upcoming updates.
