OnePlus has announced new features for users that allow them to listen to articles, get summaries, and generate text in various scenarios. These AI-backed features under the AI Toolkit will be available in the sidebar for easy access.
Let’s get to know about it in detail.
How it works
Suppose you are reading a news article on a site and want AI to summarise it for you. In this condition, the sidebar shows you the relevant recommendation bubbles. You will be required to click on the bubble as per your requirement and you will see it working.
AI Speak
The AI Speak works with browsers and news apps. While using it you can select from male and female voice, use the replay function, switch sentences, and adjust playback speed.
AI Summary
Suppose you are going through the scores of an Olympic competition and want a summary of that. You will access the AI Summary feature from the slide bar for this. The generated summary can be copied, shared, and saved. You can also save selected files to the file dock.
AI Writer
You will see this popping up on the sidebar under conditions like when social media is open, shopping apps, and email apps. You can write the prompt that can be regenerated and copied.
Before using these functions make sure that screen recognition is enabled which can be found in Settings under Accessibility and Convenience. As of now, these features are only supported on OnePlus Nord 4 and Nord CE 4 Lite 5G. It’s available for the OnePlus Nord 4 users in India, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, South Asia, Russia, and Latin America.
