Apple Releases the iOS and iPadOS 17.2 Beta SDKs with Many New Features
Apple has released its latest iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2 beta software development kits(SDKs) to developers. The developer beta versions will be bringing many new features, with a few improvements along with it.

As is known, the developer beta versions will have both known and unknown issues, but come with many new features and a few improvements, as mentioned above. The iOS 17.2 & iPadOS 17.2 beta SDKs bundled with Xcode 15.1, also provide the support to develop apps for the beta versions.
About the new features, the latest iMessage Contact Key Verification will allow users to message only people they want, the Journal app is made available, and the Journaling Suggestions offer a visual picker interface for iPhone apps. On “Transaction”, new pricing properties like “price”, “currency”, “currencyCode” are available, and a new testing functionality to send purchase intents to apps has been added. A new feature has also been brought to SwiftUI.
The resolved issues include the fixing of the problem that caused Android apps not to be able to connect with iPhones’ personal hotspot, and the Swift access conflict crash that may occur while using toolbar items have been resolved.
The brand has already made the iOS 17.1 and iPadOS 17.1 updates available to the general public and the update was rolled out on the 25th of October, last month, following which, a day later, the iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2 beta for developers were released on the 26th of October 2023.
