Even before schedule Samsung roll out the One UI 5.1 update for the mid range Galaxy smartphones Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A53 5G
The One UI 5.1 update that we saw with the launch of Galaxy S23 series phones came for the high-end Galaxy smartphones in February. And Samsung scheduled the rollout of One UI 5.1 for the mid-range Samsung Galaxy phones in March.
But the news around this update suggests something else. Samsung has started rolling out this update for the mid-range Galaxy smartphone before the scheduled time and the first two phones in the mid-range which have started getting this update are Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A53 5G.
The Galaxy A33 5G’s One UI 5.1 update comes with firmware version A336NKSU3CWB3 and Galaxy A53 5G comes with A536NKSU4CWB3. Along with this update comes the February 2023 security patch for the mid-range Samsung Galaxy smartphones that is going to solve over a dozen vulnerabilities.
This news has come out from the Samsung Community page which reported the roll out of this update. For now, this update has been rolled out for South Korean users only and in the upcoming days, we will certainly witness this update in other countries too.
If we talk about the phone Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A53 5G both of the phones received the One UI 5.0 with the Android 13 update in November. And both of the phones came into the market with the Android 12 and One UI 4.1.
You can simply download the update on your phone by heading to Setting and then going to Software update. There you will see the Download and Install option where you will be able to download this update for your smartphone. But it’s only for South Korean users for now.
