The South Korean tech giant Samsung is currently busy rolling out One UI 7 Beta updates to its flagship Galaxy S24 series. The stable version is expected to be released at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event on 22nd January. Apart from this, the brand has also released a new update for Galaxy Watch 6.
Galaxy Watch 6: New Update Released
The update is based on the One UI 6 Watch version and comes with firmware version R940XXU1BXL2/R940OXM1BXL2. It is 136.67MB and includes the October 2024 security patch level.
With this update, the stability of this wearable has been improved but other than there is no other major improvement or new feature is introduced.
Galaxy Watch 6: Features
The Galaxy Watch 6 features a circular dial, its 40mm variant sports a 1.3-inch Super AMOLED display while the 44mm variant features a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display. The smartwatch is powered by Samsung Exynos W930 SoC which is paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Galaxy Watch 6 variants house a 300mAh battery. It arrives with LTE and Bluetooth connectivity options in both 40mm and 44mm variants.
