Google rolls out a new firmware update for Pixel Buds Pro 2

Last year in August, Google officially launched its all-new Pixel Buds Pro 2 and recently at the beginning of this month, a user on the Reddit platform raised a complaint of connectivity issues while connecting the earbuds with the smartphone. Although the user tried all the possible solutions there was no fruitful result which hinted that there was an issue with the earbuds itself.

Google has now started rolling out a new firmware update for Pixel Buds Pro 2. The firmware version for left and right earbuds is 3.144 while the case is on release_2.117.

The above image does not reveal much about what changes this update includes but as per a report by 9to5Google, this new update is expected to address the connectivity issue earlier reported while the volume control issue is also expected to be fixed. As earlier few users also raised concerns about not being able to adjust the volume of earbud using their phones rocker/slider, with only the on-buds control working.

Other than this a new Bud return sound alert is also said to be rolled out when the buds are placed back in the case and are charging.
