Whenever it comes to rolling out software updates for gadgets like smartphones and tablets, Google has always kept it’s users updated. On one hand many smartphone brands are releasing July 2023 security update for their devices , on the other hand Google has already arrived with a software update for August 2023.
The company has officially announced through their community page that the company has provided the monthly software update for August 2023 and all the supported Pixel devices running Android 13 will be receiving this update starting from today only. The rollout will continue over next week in phases and the users will be receiving a notification once the OTA is available for their device.
Monthly software update for August 2023 includes
- Fix for issue occasionally causing Bluetooth keyboards to not connect. The issue has been fixed for Pixel Fold and Pixel tablet
- Fix for issue causing certain live wallpapers to display incorrectly in different device orientations on Pixel Fold
- Fix for issue occasionally causing lock screen to not respond on Pixel fold
- Fix for issue occasionally causing home screen launcher search input to not register on Pixel fold
- Fix for issue occasionally causing flickering or glitches while in Hub mode on Pixel tablet.
