Google Updates on Pixel 6 Series Bricking Issue: Problem Remains Unresolved
Recently some of the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and 6A smartphone users reported about the issue of their smartphones being bricked after they factory reset their phone. Users have reported it on multiple platforms and the company had to come forth to respond. One of the Product Expert wrote on the support page that “this is a known issue currently under investigation”
Now a community manager has made an another announcement on Google support page.
She wrote, “We’ve recently received reports from some users who have run into issues factory resetting their Pixel 6, 6 Pro, and 6a after they take the latest system update”. Further, she mentioned in the post “To avoid this issue, we recommend leaving your device powered on and idle for 15 minutes after it has rebooted following a system update. After that time you may factory reset your device. Alternatively, you can factory reset your device before taking the latest system update” ” Those who have already factory reset their phone and experiencing the issue will have to wait for a while as the “team has identified the root cause of the issue and is working on developing the best possible solution”. This is definitely an issue that needs to be solved as soon as possible as this problem has made several Pixel smartphones almost useless.
