MagicOS 8.0 Officially Launched in China

The MagicOS 8.0 custom skin which has now been officially launched in the Chinese market is designed in such a manner that it will understand and become better for its users by analyzing the way they use the device. The custom skin is integrated with AI functions, and recognizes human-computer interactions. It will also offer a one-step direct access across multiple applications, enabling users to perform tasks such as taking a taxi and travelling, shopping, drag passwords and get direct access, and also one-drag video query.

Honor’s self-developed terminal-side platform-level AI large model also helps in offering better user experience to users with features such as natural semantic understanding for simpler video creation and more accurate gallery search, an “Arbitary Gate” for better semantic understanding, and safer and reliable device data (with local storage security and clone transmission security).

There are many other productivity feature too within the custom skin. Smart Capsule, Global Information Management (Personal Knowledge Center and Personal Affair Center), people-centered smart interconnection(sports, health, smart travel, office education, & smart home), Multiple Business Concurrency(multi-business concurrency & cross-system window drag and drop), mobile address and trailer navigation are some of the features.

With the AI-integration, the performance and stability of the custom skin have been improved too. Multi-window reloading helps in making extreme scenes stable and smooth. Frequently used applications are also kept alive with User Scenario Awareness and Intelligent Keep Alive. Better GPU performance will also be offered with Super Touch, and more smoother network connectivity is assured.
