Lava Blaze Curve 5G Receives Major Software Update with August 2024 Security Patch

Lava Mobile has released a software update for the Lava Blaze Curve 5G smartphone. The update, version LAVA_LXX505_SW_A14_V09_HW_V1.0_20240828, includes several changes and additions to the device’s software.

Update Contents:

  1. Android 14 Upgrade: The device will now run on the Android 14 operating system.
  2. Security Update: August 2024 Security Updates are included.
  3. Camera Updates:
    • Modifications to low light performance in Night mode for rear and front cameras
    • Changes to bokeh effect in Portrait mode for rear and front cameras
    • Adjustments to overall front camera performance

Update Information:

  • Update Size: 2.64 GB
  • Note: The device should have more than 50% battery charge or be connected to a charger before starting the update.

During the update process, users will see the message “Installing system update… Optimizing your device, this may take a while.”

Users can choose to download and install the update to access these changes.
