MIUI has announced the MIUI 14 rollout plan for Q2 2023. This announcement has been made through the MIUI Twitter account in which it also mentioned that the rollout plan for the POCO devices will be revealed soon. Xiaomi’s MIUI 14 brings new features and interface thus increasing productivity, battery optimization, and storage management.
Design
You can redesign your home screen in your way. By using tabular icons, big folders, widgets, and wallpapers you can give your display a new look and arrange to make it easy to access those applications and features that you often use. Its card-style design presents all the information more efficiently than before just like Post-it notes.
Back end optimization
All the system resources are optimized in such a way that it takes less storage. This increases the available storage thus reducing the occupied storage. All the rarely used apps will be auto-compressed MIUI 14 to reduce storage usage. Notification can be annoying and less important sometimes but you can also now off the notification thus causing less disturbance.
On-device privacy
The data and resources are processed on a device without leaving your device which minimizes the chance of leaks and data breaches. Its On-device privacy protection mechanism lets MIUI 14 process the image on the phone by taking advantage of the capabilities of your device. It expands its on-device protection for 10+ system services.
You can also sync the apps you are using between your tablet and smartphone which will make it easy to multitask. So if you own one of the devices mentioned in the list make sure to check the settings of your phone.
