After releasing MIUI 13 a year ago, Xiaomi has already released MIUI 14 in China
MIUI is a mobile operating system developed by Xiaomi. Back when MIUI 13 was announced, as usual, the speculations for their successors already come into the mainstream and so for MIUI 14. MIUI 14 launched in China a month ago on December 11, 2022, and Xiaomi has made its move by launching its global version throughout.
MIUI 14 is available on Xiaomi 12 phones that are there on the beta channel and requires a 4.43GB of update and making it MIUI 14.0.2.0 (TLCMIXM). At the current moment, only Xiaomi 12 has the MIUI 14 update, Xiaomi 12 Pro still doesn’t have this update.
The current MIUI 14 update is still on the wire, the performance is still being assessed. Once they have the reports, the current update shall reach all the phones, there is a huge list of phones that have been counted for this version of the update.
The successful completion of reports shall lead to the reaching of the MIUI 14 update through OTA. Android OTA (Over the Air) provides the infrastructure used by the Android partner portal for managing device system updates.
MIUI 14 comes with the redesigned sound recorder app, there is an added widget of “Remove text from widgets” in the MIUI launcher, lite mode added to the MIUI launcher’s home screen section, Android 13 Media Player added (Android 13), Redesigned compass app, MIUI Gallery Application to be the uninstallable app, etc and many more features listed to come with different beta versions of MIUI 14. MIUI being a popular android interface in the market, MIUI 14 is highly anticipated all throughout.
