MIUI introduces earthquake monitoring volunteer project in China on the occasion of National Disaster prevention and Reduction Day
The news of earthquakes hitting different regions of the country is the news we all have heard very frequently for the past few years. What if you get an early alert about an earthquake? Xiaomi’s custom operating system MIUI developed an earthquake warning system that alerts users of an impending quake.
MIUI has now announced that Xiaomi users can not only receive earthquake warning information but can also monitor earthquakes. This feature is really helpful for places that do not have traditional earthquake monitors. This technology not only saves the cost of earthquake monitoring but also greatly increases the number of monitoring, making the national earthquake monitoring and early warning network more complete.
