Moto X40 New System Beta Update Announced: Stable Version Soon to be Rolled Out

Motorola, one of the leading smartphone makers, has announced a new beta update for its X40 smartphone in China. The update will bring a lot of improvements and fixes to the device along with the August 2023 Android security patch, and the stable version will be rolled out to everyone soon.

The latest update for the Moto X40 Chinese variant will update the device from the firmware version T1TR33.4-30-62 to the firmware version T1TR33.4-30-75 and with the update, the device will be integrated with the August 2023 Android security patch. Some of the other significant system changes include the changes brought to the device’s GPU driver, operation, display, voice recorder, AI services, interactive wallpaper, calendar, cloud service, recorder, device help, and to Dolby Atmos audio technology.

A few system optimizations and fixes are also part of the update. Optimizations will be brought to Spatial Audio Algorithms and full screen gestures will now on be supported on Split Screen. The flashback problem while using Calendar in Split Screen will also be fixed along with a few other minor fixes and optimizations. The stability of Wi-Fi connections will be improved as well.

Regarding the camera updates, changes will be made in the Camera app, Photo Album, and also in the Camera Tuner. The camera shooting performance and album loading performance will be optimized. The issue in the video recording audio and the issue caused while uninstalling and reinstalling the album will also be fixed. Again, a few other minor fixes and optimizations are also present.

The third-party device connections will be optimized and the gaming performance of the device will be improved. Updations will be made to Moto Games and a network low latency optimization will be added. Optimizations will also be made to the device’s gaming performance too. The GPU incompatibility issue with the Ni Shui Han game will be fixed as well with the update.

The updation process won’t delete or modify any of its user’s personal data, however, once the device is updated, downgrading to the previous version will not be possible. Motorola has also confirmed via its official Weibo handle that the update will be rolled out to everyone after 1 or 2 weeks when this new firmware version becomes stable.
