Motorola’s Edge 50 Fusion Smartphone Receives Android 15 Update with Multiple Improvements and Features
This time, Motorola is very prompt in rolling out software updates to its smartphone devices and now, it has been reported that the brand’s April 2024-released Edge 50 Fusion is receiving the latest Android 15 OS update. Many improvements and features have also been brought with it.

The Android 15 update that Motorola is rolling out for its Edge 50 Fusion smartphone has a software version of ‘V1UUI35H.15-15-4’ and it is 1.92 GB large in size. The new Android 15 release is also pointed out to be smarter, faster, and more secure. Smoother graphics, faster app performance, screen recording notifications, and easy switching between languages are also some of its key specs.
Speaking more about the improvements and features, partial screen recording has been introduced along with a new animation in the Settings app. A new pop-up window has also been added in the Bluetooth quick settings option on the notification panel. Color contrast can be changed now, with default, medium, and high options. The Sleep Mode can also be turned off from now on. Overcharge Protection which limits power at 80% (will charge to 100% only once a week) and App Cloner have been added too.
Moreover, users will be able to choose from different color themes from the Moto app, whereas the new Feedback app allows users to report bugs and issues more conveniently. A malware scan feature has also been added on Moto Secure app, and users are being offered two font selections – FontSpaceGrotesk and FontWorkSans.
Regarding some UI changes, the volume bar expansion window now pops up from the bottom rather than from the right side, and the FPS and resolution change options are given on the front screen itself. An archive app feature has also been added, along with certain U3 features. However, it should be noted that the Circle to Search feature is absent and not available yet.
