Nothing, the UK-based tech company, had confirmed that the brand will be making the Nothing OS 2.0 custom UI available to its very first smartphone device, the Nothing Phone (1), by the end of August, and now the brand has officially announced that the internal beta for the Nothing OS 2.0 has started for the device.

Nothing OS 2.0 Internal Beta Program
Carl Pei, the Nothing CEO, has made this official announcement via his official Twitter account, mentioning that the internal beta for the Nothing OS 2.0 has started for the device, and users should just wait a little longer until the brand’s Android 13-based custom UI is made perfectly ready for its users. Note, this announcement comes after the roll-out of Nothing OS 2.0.2 update for the latest Nothing Phone (2).
The first generation Nothing Phone (1) previously had received the Android 14 beta 3 update and will be receiving the stable version of the Android OS after its release, but it should be noted that the Nothing OS 2.0 that will be rolled out this month will be based on the Android 13 operating system.
Speaking about the Nothing OS 2.0 update, the update is said to bring a lot of major improvements that will help in improving the personalized feel and functionality of the device. Harmonious sync between the hardware and software will also be achieved with the update.

Nothing’s first smartphone device, the Nothing Phone (1), had its debut last year in the month of June 2022 and the device was well received by all. The glyph interface and the unique features the smartphone offered made it appealing to the entire smartphone world.
