Nothing Phone (1) Receives a New System Update Followed by the Phone (2): Few System Improvements and Bug Fixes

The UK-based tech company, Nothing launched its latest smartphone device, the Nothing Phone (2) recently, and yesterday, on the 13th of July 2023, the brand released the first system update for the newly launched smartphone. The update included a lot of added features along with many improvements and bug fixes.

Followed by the Nothing Phone (2), the company has also rolled out a new system update to its previous Nothing Phone (1) smartphone device.

Nothing Phone (1) Receives a New System Update

This new update that has been released and rolled out to the Nothing Phone (1) is not a major update that brings a lot of UI changes and added features but was just a small update with a total update size of 54.44 MB. It includes a few system improvements and bug fixes.

Regarding the system improvements that will be brought, the performance of the Face Unlock feature will be upgraded with the improvements that will be brought to the face recognition accuracy in dark environments. The Bluetooth power consumption will also be reduced when the device is on standby mode at night. A new RAM expansion feature has also been introduced which will enable certain applications to stay open in the background and offer 10% better performance.

Now coming to the bugs that will be fixed, the issue with adaptive brightness turning off automatically will be fixed with the new update. A rare issue preventing users from capturing photos will also be fixed. Issues related to the device’s Face Unlock feature will be fixed as well. Other general bug fixes are also part of the update.
