Nothing Phone(2) just after the few days of its launch receives its first update

Carl Pei founded Nothing Phone(2) has just been launched and even before users could get their hands on this smartphone, it received its first system update. This update brings a number of exciting features, improvements, and bug fixes thus making users’ experience better than ever before.

Mukul Sharma, a Twitter user, has shared the screenshot of the Nothing Phone(2) screen in which “System update downloading” can be seen with enlisted features, improvements, and Bug fixes.

New Features

This update introduces the Glyph Composer app that will let you customize the Glyph sequences and set them as ringtones. Thanks to its lightning elements on the rear side, it can now be customized better than before. Nothing has also introduced Glyph progress for Uber, which is an experimental feature. It will show the progress of an incoming Uber ride.

With this update, you can add widgets and quick settings widgets on the lock screen and home screen. It also brings Nothing Machine style ringtones and notifications sound from Phone(1) that have been adjusted for Nothing Phone(2). You will also get to see 4 new wallpapers and a one-handed mode for easy and convenient usage.

Improvements

The camera, battery, and network have been significantly improved with this update. In camera you will find enhanced low light camera performance, improved HDR camera effect, and improved clarity for motion capture.

There will be reduced power consumption during data transfer, and improved Glyph Interface after this upgrade.

Bug fixes

This System update makes sure to resolve foggy image issues when using the front camera in the backlight issue. App lock, Glyph, and Quick setting-related issues have also been resolved.

This update is 179 MB large in size and is available to download as per the user. This news is worth noting because Nothing Phone(2) will be available from July 21 onwards. As of now only pre-order pass buyers can choose their phone variant and place an order till the 20 then it will be made available for everyone. And getting this update within a few days of launch will bring a smile to users’ faces.
