One UI 5.1 upgrade comes with a new volume slider concept : Here’s all you need to know about it

Samsung officially unveiled the One UI 5.1 upgrade on February 15, 2023, and it’s Galaxy S23 series is already upgraded with this latest version. One UI 5.1 has a variety of new features that enable greater creativity and personalization for a more convenient experience. This upgrade has already started being rolled out to a few devices.

In this latest upgrade, there is a new volume bar concept introduced which is inspired by Apple’s iOS. According to this concept, the volume bar gets slimmer when you adjust the level of volume. This slimmer slider will increase the visibility of content on the display by occupying less area and also the animation changes will make it more intuitive.

A Twitter user V3trox360 has also posted a video regarding this concept and he also explained how this concept works.

Also just like earlier, you can expand the volume options by tapping on the three dots that appear on the slider, you will get access to more volume settings such as media, ringtone, and system sound.

Apart from this volume bar concept, One UI 5.1 integrates Expert RAW into the camera app, a more engaging gallery, image clipper, a more personalized mobile experience with custom wallpapers, ringtones, fonts and touch sensitivity, Bixby text call, and more.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy S22 series have already received this latest update and in the coming weeks, maybe more Samsung devices will be getting this update.
