OnePlus 12 receives OxygenOS 14.0.0.604 update globally; OnePlus 11 receives OxygenOS 14.0.0.601 update in India

The smartphone brand OnePlus has today officially rolled out a new software update for the OnePlus 12 in global regions and the OnePlus 11 in India. This update integrates the latest security patch to the smartphones and also brings some improvements.

OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 12: New software update

For OnePlus 12, the update arrives with firmware versions: IN- CPH2573_14.0.0.604(EX01), EU/GLO- CPH2581_14.0.0.604(EX01), and NA- CPH2583_14.0.0.604(EX01). The OnePlus 11 has also received a new update in the Indian region with firmware version: CPH247_14.0.0.601(EX01).

  • You can now create photo collages without frames in Photos.
  • Adds a “Partial screenshot” option in the Smart Sidebar.
  • You can now press and hold the Volume Down button to turn the flashlight on when the screen is off.
  • You can now enter the first letter of an app name for fuzzy search from the Home screen search bar in Drawer mode.
  • You can now try out the “app-specific volume” feature to adjust the volume for individual apps based on your needs.
  • Improves the volume bar’s design for ease of use and visual consistency.
  • Improves system stability.
  • Integrates the March 2024 Android security patch to enhance system security.

The above OTAs will be incremental and will be reaching a small percentage of users today while the broader rollout will begin in a few days. The Indian users are advised to submit bugs (if any) on the pop up window that appears after typing *#800# on the Google Dialer. While the users in other regions can submit their feedback directly on the thread.
