OnePlus 12 update brings improved home screen customisation and privacy features

OnePlus has started rolling out a new software update for the OnePlus 12 in India. The latest build, OxygenOS 15.0.0.701, is being pushed out in batches and will gradually reach more devices over the coming days.

With this update, you can enjoy more control over your home screen layout. Folders can now be resized by dragging them into a 1×2 or 2×1 shape, giving you more flexibility in how your apps are arranged. The dock has also been improved—it can now show five apps even when your home screen is set to display four apps per row.

You’ll also notice smoother animations when interacting with notifications and quick settings. If you use Spotify, music controls within live alerts have been refined for a more fluid experience.

Plus, the update also includes the March 2025 Android security patch to help keep your device protected. There’s also an improved process for resetting your privacy password—you’ll now be prompted to link it to your OnePlus account, making it easier to recover access if you ever forget it.

As with previous rollouts, this one is incremental. A small group will receive the update first, with a wider release following soon.
