OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro receives OxygenOS 13.1.0.582 update for August 2023
We recently saw the OnePlus 9R receiving OxygenOS 13.1.0.582 update in the India region. Now two more smartphones, the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro have been announced to receive OxygenOS 13.1.0.582. As like earlier, this update is also being rolled out in the India region for now. The OnePlus 8 OS update carries the firmware version IN2011_13.1.0.582(EX01) whereas the OnePlus 8 Pro OS update carries the firmware version IN2021_13.1.0.582(EX01).
This update integrates the August 2023 Android security patch that enhances the overall system security. You can check for the update manually by navigating to Settings and then going to the About Device section. There you will find the update and can download it.

OnePlus 8 comes with a 6.55-inch display whereas the OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a 6.78 inches display. The nonpro model and pro model both are powered by a Snapdragon 865 5G processor paired with Adreno 650 GPU. The OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a 48 MP main camera, 8 MP telephoto camera, 48 MP ultra-wide camera, and 5 MP camera. The front side of the phone comes with a 16 MP selfie camera.
The OnePlus 8 is backed by a 4300 mAh battery that supports 30 W wired charging whereas the OnePlus 8 Pro is backed by a 4,510 mAh battery that supports 30 W wired charging.
