OnePlus 9R – OxygenOS 13.1.0.586 Update
The OxygenOS 13.1.0.586 update that is currently being rolled out to the OnePlus 9R smartphone users of India will be integrating the February 2024 Android security patch to the device, thereby enhancing the system security. The Background Stream feature in the Smart Sidebar will also removed from the device with this update.
The update has the firmware version – “LE2101_13.1.0.586(EX01)” and this build as mentioned should be detectable on the device if the user wish to receive the OxygenOS 14.0.0.301 update.
OnePlus 9R – OxygenOS 14.0.0.301 Update
This update has the firmware version of “LE2101_14.0.0.301(EX01)” and it should be noted that the update will be downgrading the Android security patch of the device from February’s to last month’s January 2024 Android security patch.
Other changelogs include improvements in system stability and performance, battery life extension in certain scenarios, fix for the issue which causes fingerprint icon to remain after device gets unlocked, removal of Background Stream feature from Smart Sidebar, and improved camera stability.
Both the updates are incremental updates and will only be rolled out in a phased manner. Those who still haven’t received them can wait until the broader roll-out that are scheduled to take place in the coming few days.
To submit feedback, Indian users of the smartphone may dial “*#800#” on Google Dialer and fill it up on the pop-up window that appears.
