OnePlus announces OxygenOS 14.0.0.501 update for OnePlus 11R in India
The Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus has today released a new update for OnePlus 11R smartphone in the Indian region. This update integrates the latest Android security patch to the device while it also arrives with few improvements for the device.

This update arrives with firmware version CPH2487_14.0.0.501(EX01). This OTA will be incremental and will be reaching a small percentage of Indian user today while a broader rollout will begin in few days.

- Integrates the February 2024 Android security patch to enhance system security.
- High-frequency PWM dimming has been upgraded to One-pulse EM mode in Developer options. When this mode is enabled, one-pulse anti-flicker modulation will be used for high screen brightness and high-frequency PWM dimming will be used for low screen brightness.
- Improves system stability and performance.
OnePlus 11R users are advised that in case they come across any bug after installing this update on their devices, they can submit it on the pop-up window that appears after typing *#800# on the Google Dialer.

The OnePlus 11R smartphone comes with a 6.74 inch wide 2772×1240 pixels resolution, 120 Hz Fluid AMOLED display. It comes with support for sRGB, Display P3 and HDR10+. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with Adreno 730 GPU. It packs up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM with up to 512GB UFS 3.12 storage.
The smartphone sports a triple camera setup on the rear featuring a 50 MP Sony IMX890 f/1.8 OIS support main camera, an 8 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro lens. The front side of the display houses a 16 MP f/2.4 selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout. It is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging.
