OnePlus Nord 3 in India gets OxygenOS 15.0.0.601 update with BeaconLink, fixes for animation stutter and Night mode overexposure

OnePlus is beginning the incremental rollout of OxygenOS 15.0.0.601 for the OnePlus Nord 3 in India. The update, already available to a small percentage of users, will continue to be rolled out in batches over the next few days.

In this update, OnePlus has added BeaconLink, an app that lets you call nearby people even when you don’t have an internet connection or mobile signal. The update also addresses system performance by fixing an issue that could cause animations to stutter, and it integrates the February 2025 Android security patch to further enhance overall security. On the camera side, the update fixes a problem where photos of people and scenes in Night mode could become overexposed.

The screengrab below shows that the total size of the update is 1.13GB. This likely reflects the full version of the update rather than the incremental OTA package, so the OTA update will probably be of a lower size.

A lot of Nord 3 users were complaining about not receiving the BeaconLink feature, and with this update, that issue has now been resolved. The complete rollout of the update is expected to take about 1–2 weeks, ensuring that all eligible devices eventually receive the improvements.

Also one of the users in the community notes mentioned that the wifi doesn’t seem to work after this update. though, it might just be an isolated case. And since the rollout has just began, probably you can wait for a little more to check if it doesn’t affect any more users.
