OnePlus officially starts OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 2 program for OnePlus Open in India

The smartphone brand OnePlus is currently rolling out the stable version of OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 to its smartphones in India as well as global markets. Recently the company has also started the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 program for its first-ever foldable device- the OnePlus Open.

Today OnePlus has officially started the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 2 program for this foldable device in the Indian region.

This program arrives with some more functional optimizations which are made after the first Open Beta program. Users should note that since this is the beta software it arrives with some risks and issues.

Points to keep in mind-

  • Make sure that the device is in the latest OxygenOS 13.2 version before upgrading to the Beta version
  • Make sure that the battery of the device is above 30% and a minimum of 4GB storage space is available

  • Integrates the January 2024 Android security patch to enhance system security.
  • Improves touch control experience.
  • Fixes an issue where you might not be able to use FlexForm mode.
  • Fixes an issue where some apps in the Home screen taskbar might not respond to your taps.
  • Fixes a blurred issue that might occur when tapping and holding an app on the Home screen.
  • Fixes a display issue that might affect the Lock screen clock widget when you switch from the main screen to the cover screen.

How to apply?

  • Confirm your phone has been updated to the detectable version:

  • Go to Settings > About device > Tap up to date > Tap icon on the top right > Beta program > Follow the steps to apply

The Indian users are also advised to submit bugs on the popup window that appears after typing *#800# on the Google Dialer.
