OnePlus Open gets its next May 2024 OxygenOS 14.0.0.801 update with addition of Android’s Ultra HDR support for ProXDR photos
OnePlus recently announced the Android 15 Beta 1 update for OnePlus Open and OnePlus 12 customers, which definitely added excitement among users. Now, there is another update being rolled out. This OxygenOS 14.0.0.801 update for OnePlus Open users in India comes with the May 2024 Android Security Patch. Additionally, Android’s Ultra HDR Support feature has been added via this update, which I will discuss below in the changelog.
Changelog
This update will come with firmware version IN: CPH2551_14.0.0.801(EX01) and is expected to enhance system stability. It will also integrate the May 2024 Android Security patch. Moreover, there will be the addition of Android’s Ultra HDR support for ProXDR photos. According to OnePlus, if you have an app that supports Ultra HDR on the device, the images will look more vivid and lively when accessed through that app.
