OxygenOS 14 – Microsoft Phone Link Feature
OnePlus’ OxygenOS 14 stable version will include features like File Dock, Notes 2.0, and Smart Cutout, and on top of all these, the brand will also be introducing the Microsoft Phone Link feature to its devices with the custom skin.
The Microsoft Phone Link feature enables users to connect their OnePlus mobile device to their Windows PC, and the option for this will be offered to them while setting up Windows for the first time, with Windows OOBE(Out Of Box Experience). A cross-device connection that allows users to work on anything, anywhere, and anytime is its main highlight.
Speaking of some of the cross-device features that will be offered, users will be able to view messages and other notifications on their Windows PC, without having to pick up their mobile phone. They will also be able to attend and make calls via their connected PC, and will also be able to go through their call history.
From the media side, users can view all their photos on their PC and can also download them if needed, or drag or drop them on PPT or in an email message. If the photos are not necessary or up to the mark, they can also be deleted it from the system.
What is most exciting is that, if users want to, they can also share their phone’s screen on their PC devices and use their phone on the PC itself. All the apps can be easily accessed and used without any sort of issues.
