The Chinese consumer electronics maker, OnePlus, has officially released the stable version of the OxygenOS 14 custom skin for its Pad tablet device. Users in India will be receiving the update in batches.

OnePlus Pad – OxygenOS 14 Update
As suggested, the OxygenOS 14 stable version update will be first rolled out to the users in India who have previously been a part of the open beta or closed beta programs, and will gradually be rolling out to others. The stable update has a firmware version of “OPD2203_14.0.0.100(EX01)”, and brings a lot of improvements and feature additions.
About the changelogs, an Aqua Dynamics feature has been added. It will let users to view up-to-date information with just a glance. A Smart Cutout feature has also been added, allowing users to separate multiple subjects from the background of images.
With more widget recommendations, the Shelf has been improved, and certain improvements are brought to the device’s photo & video related permission management system.
On the performance side, system stability, launch speed of apps, and smoothness of animations have been improved, and an app-specific refresh rate feature has been added. New Aquamorphic-themed ringtones and revamped system notification sounds are also part of the update.
Do keep in mind to leave at least 5GB of internal storage space and 30% battery charge left within the device before updating. Feedback are also important, and OnePlus advises its users to inform them regarding any sorts of bugs or issues that were encountered on the stable version.
Those eager OnePlus Pad users of India can also still be a part of the OxygenOS 14 open beta program to enjoy the latest custom skin. If ever they want to roll-back to the previous stable version, download the zip package via OnePlus’ server and locally install it.
