OnePlus Releases OxygenOS 14.0.0.831 for OnePlus 11 and 12R in India

OnePlus has begun rolling out OxygenOS 14.0.0.831 for its OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 12R models in India. The update is being rolled out incrementally, reaching a limited number of users initially.

The specific firmware versions are:

  • OnePlus 11: CPH2447_14.0.0.831(EX01)
  • OnePlus 12R: CPH2585_14.0.0.831(EX01)

Here is the Changelog for both OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 12R

  • Adds a switch to show or hide media playback info in the status bar.
  • Improves the user experience of scrolling screenshots. Notifications or Live Alerts messages won’t pop up and floating windows won’t be displayed when you are taking a scrolling screenshot.
  • Integrates the August 2024 Android security patch to enhance system security.

The changelog is identical for both devices.

While OnePlus has not provided an official timeline, based on previous rollout patterns, it typically takes about a week for updates to reach all users in a region. The update is currently available in India, with potential expansion to other regions in the future.

Users in India can report bugs by dialing *#800# in the Google Dialer app. OnePlus is also collecting feedback via its community forum, where the company states it is working to improve the feedback submission process.

As with any software update, users are advised to back up their data before installation and ensure their device has sufficient battery charge and storage space.
