OnePlus Rolls Out December 2024 Updates: OnePlus 9R, 10T Get Security Patch in India, Open Receives Stability Update

OnePlus is keeping busy with a fresh round of updates for multiple devices. The company has announced three separate updates targeting the OnePlus 9R, 10T, and the foldable OnePlus Open, with specific regional availability.

The OnePlus 9R and 10T in India are receiving similar updates (versions OxygenOs 14.0.0.604 and OxygenOs  14.0.0.714 respectively) that bring the December 2024 security patch. Both updates also address a time accuracy issue that occurred when devices weren’t connected to the internet.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus Open is getting a different treatment with OxygenOS 15.0.0.220, rolling out in both India and Europe. This update focuses on improving system stability and performance, though it’s lighter on specific features compared to the other updates.

All three updates are following OnePlus’s typical incremental rollout strategy:

  • OnePlus 9R: Version 14.0.0.604 (IN only)
  • OnePlus 10T: Version 14.0.0.714 (IN only)
  • OnePlus Open: Version 15.0.0.220 (IN/EU regions)

For users in India experiencing any issues, OnePlus has provided a simple bug reporting method – just dial *#800# in the Google Dialer app to access the bug submission menu. Users in other regions are encouraged to provide feedback directly in the official OnePlus forum threads.

As with all OnePlus updates, these will initially reach a small percentage of users before expanding to more devices in the coming days. Users should keep an eye on their system updates section as the rollout progresses.
