OnePlus rolls out OxygenOS 13.1.0.582 update for OnePlus 8T in India
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is currently rolling out an October 2023 Android security patch to its devices. The update has already reached many OnePlus smartphones till now and now the OnePlus 8T joins the list of these devices.
OnePlus has officially rolled out the OxygenOS 13.1.0.582 update for the OnePlus 8T. This update is currently being rolled out in the Indian region. The firmware version for this update is KB2001_13.1.0.582(EX01).
This latest update integrates the October 2023 Android security patch to enhance system security. This OTA is incremental and will be reaching a small percentage of users today in India while the company will begin a broader rollout in a few days.
OnePlus also encourages its users to submit their valuable feedback regarding the update. Users may submit it on the pop-up menu which appears after dialing “*#800#” on the Google Dialer. They can also submit it via the feedback form given on the respective update page or they may submit it as comments on the update thread.
OnePlus 8T: Specifications
The 6.55-inch Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED display on the OnePlus 8T has a 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The phone’s Corning Gorilla Glass will have a 402 PPI. The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with an Adreno 650 GPU inside, along with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The OnePlus 8T has four cameras: a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, a 16MP 123° ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP micro-camera, and a 2MP monochrome lens. A 16MP Sony IMX471 main sensor with an f/2.4 aperture will be on the front. In terms of battery, the OnePlus 8T has a 4,500mAh battery with 65W Warp Charging.
