The Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics manufacturer, OnePlus, has started rolling out a new OxygenOS update to the flagship 9R smartphone in the Indian region. The update will consist of an improvement, bug/issue fixes, and a feature addition, along with the March 2024 Android security patch.

OnePlus 9R – OxygenOS 14.0.0.500 Update
As mentioned above, this update is for the Indian users of the OnePlus 9R smartphone and it carries the firmware version of “LE2101_14.0.0.500(EX01)”. However, do note that the update will be following a phase-wise rollout schedule as it is incremental in nature.
Speaking of the changelogs, firstly the March 2024 Android security patch will be integrated to the device and this will enhance the overall system security. The update will also reduce the power consumption of the device, extending its battery life. The issue which causes apps to crash, the display issue with the status bar, as well as the display issue that occurs when the device is disconnected from the charger will all be resolved. Added switch for year/month/day views in Settings is the feature addition.
