OPPO A59 5G Eligible for the Android 14 Based ColorOS 14 Closed Beta Program in India
OPPO, the Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics manufacturer, has made its A59 5G device eligible for the brand’s ColorOS 14 closed beta program based on the Android 14 operating system in the Indian region. Interested candidates can now start applying for it.
Here’s more about it.
OPPO A59 5G – ColorOS 14 Closed Beta Program
The Indian users of the OPPO A59 5G smartphone can apply for the ColorOS 14 closed beta update via the application channel in the device’s “Settings”, and it should be noted that only 200 users will be provided the entry into the program. Do keep in mind that this is the beta version and it won’t be stable when compared to the ColorOS stable versions.
Users must make sure that their personal data is backed up before updating. After the update process, the device will also be performing several actions that may lead to device heating, lagging, and battery draining. This will automatically be fixed in a few days, or users may charge the device for a whole night to resolve the issue immediately. Certain compatibility issues might also be faced by users as some apps are not yet fully compatible with Android 14 OS.
The application channel is live from the 29th of February 2024 to the 3rd of March 2024. It will take five days for the application to be reviewed and once found eligible or when selected, the respective users will be invited to the ColorOS 14 closed beta program telegram group.
Feedback regarding any sorts of bugs or issues that were encountered can be submitted via the Feedback App. To add, beta testers will also be receiving monthly rewards (Amazon gift e-cards), as well as point rewards based on performance. Excellent performers will receive additional gifts too.
