The Chinese smartphone brand Oppo recently started the Closed Beta testing of ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 for Oppo F21s Pro in India and today this program has been officially started for Oppo A79 5G in the country.

The company is selecting 200 users for this program and the applications will be accepted only till tomorrow. Confirm that the device is updated to the detectable version: CPH2553_13.1.1.621(EX01)/ CPH2553_13.1.1.542(EX01)/ CPH2553_13.1.1.453(EX01).
Points to remember
- The Closed Beta Test version is not stable
- Backup important personal data before updating to this version
- After updating, the OS will do several actions to optimize your device automatically, this may lead to device heating, lagging and fast battery drainage
- Some third party apps are not compatible with Android 14
How to Apply?
Step 1: Go to Settings > About device > Tap the top of the page > Tap icon on the top right > Trial versions > Alpha > Fill in your information (This is important, as we’ll send you a message with the link to the official Telegram group) > Apply Now
Step 2: Update About device > Download Now (after the application is successful)
