Oppo recently announced a new list of smartphones that will be getting the ColorOS 15 update with iOS transfer feature in China. The Oppo Find X7 Ultra, which was supposed to get this update next year in Jan (2025), is receiving it ahead of schedule. The update comes with build number PHY110_15.0.0.401(CN01) and is a significant one at 1.66GB.
The camera app receives three new filters – Fresh, Emerald, and Clear film – for Photo and Portrait modes and a watermark personalization feature. The system now supports photo migration from iOS devices through Clone Phone functionality.
The update includes permission management changes, with a new “Deny all” option and app filtering based on permission settings. Calendar app users get new widgets for birthdays, anniversaries, and countdowns, while the interface now supports dragging floating windows to full screen.
This update includes the December 2024 Android security patch. Several fixes address issues with AI Voice functionality, icon display problems, and system stability. The update also includes improvements to wireless connection stability and battery life optimization for specific scenarios.
