OPPO’s Find X8 Pro Smartphone Now Receiving a New ColorOS 15 Firmware Update in India
One among the leading Chinese smartphone makers, OPPO, following the debut of two of its flagship Find X8 series models have also unveiled it for the Indian consumers as well, and the brand has so far been very prompt in rolling out firmware updates to these devices.
Now, in the Indian market, a new update is being rolled out for the Find X8 Pro device, which comprises certain feature additions, improvements, and optimizations. Here’s more about it.
OPPO Find X8 Pro – CPH2659_15.0.0.401(EX01) Update
This new ColorOS 15 update that is being rolled out to the Find X8 Pro smartphone in India has the firmware version of ‘CPH2659_15.0.0.401(EX01)’ and has a total size of 940.89 MB. The changelogs include upgrades and fixes on the side of apps, camera, communication & interconnection, and system.
Speaking more, in apps, various styles and personalization features to watermarks such as Hasselblad Master’s Signature, Film, Classic Camera, and more have been added. Live photos can also now be reverted back to the original even after saving and editing it using ‘Crop’, ‘Adjust’, ‘Filter’, or ‘Watermark’.
Coming to the camera features, stage scene recognition has received improvements, ensuring a better photography experience. Specific exposure value can also be set in Portrait mode now with the update, providing greater ease for users.
Improvements in communication and interconnection include stability upgrade and compatibility expansion of wireless connections and cellular communications.
Finally on the system side, the issue which caused APK incompatibility to be displayed while downloading and installing APKs via the Browser has been fixed. Moreover, stability and performance improvements are also part of the update.
Just to keep in mind, as always, the stable update won’t bring any loss of data, but to be on the safer side, it is best advised to backup the device before proceeding with the update. Also, ensure that there is enough space for the update.
