OriginOS 4 Overview for iQOO Devices Revealed: To First Appear on iQOO 12 Series Smartphones

Vivo’s subsidiary and one of China’s leading consumer electronics makers, iQOO, unveiled its flagship 12 series devices a week back on the 7th of November 2023 in China, and now the devices have been made available for open sale. The shipments are said to start on the 18th of November, four days later.

The two latest iQOO 12 series smartphones will be arriving with the OriginOS 4 custom skin based on the Android 14 operating system, and many other iQOO devices are waiting in line to receive the OriginOS 4 update in China.

Vivo iQOO OriginOS 4 – Overview

The OriginOS 4 custom skin for iQOO devices will first of all have the newly introduced Blue Heart Little V assistance, which will be offering features like super smart interaction, super writing, super Q&A, and super semantic search.

About the design and customization, the custom skin has a digital design, situational wallpapers, personalized screen off, weather screen off, personalized lock screen, and a real-time blur. An icon system and human factors curve are some other features.

Speaking from the performance side, the custom skin has a few features such as a virtual graphics card, Unfair Scheduling 2.0, Memory Fusion 4.0, as well as a heterogenous computing space, all contributing in improving the performance. AI integration also plays its role.

Other notable features include Off-library navigation optimization, Trip planning assistant, Vivo office suite, Full link parking assistant, Full link conference assistant, and Family health manager.

As mentioned, the latest iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro devices will be the first iQOO smartphones to feature the OriginOS 4 custom skin onboard. The flagship iQOO 11, iQOO 11 Pro and iQOO 11s smartphones will be receiving the OriginOS 4 OTA update next month in December, following which many other iQOO devices will receive the update in the months of January, February, March, April, and May of next year.
