One among the leading smartphone and other consumer electronics makers based in China – Vivo had unveiled its OriginOS 5 custom skin based on the Android 15 operating system last year in its home market back in October 2025, and many latest Vivo and iQOO branded devices launched afterwards arrived featuring it out of the box. Via the OriginOS 5 public beta program, in the past five months from November 2024 to March 2025, several previous Vivo and iQOO devices were offered the early access version of OriginOS 5 as well.
Now, the brand in April 2025, as promised, has opened the OriginOS 5 public beta program for 9 more Vivo and iQOO devices, and interested eligible users can now start applying for it. Check out more about it below.
OriginOS 5 – Public Beta Program Opens for 9 Vivo and iQOO Devices in April 2025
As mentioned, 9 more devices have been made eligible for the OriginOS 5 public beta program this month in April 2025, and this includes 6 Vivo and 3 iQOO models.

The registration has already begun and it will be live from the 1st of April 2025 (10:00 AM local time) to the 10th of April 2025 (11:59 PM local time) in China.
About the registration process, the users of the above mentioned devices can simply navigate to Settings > System Management and Upgrade > System Upgrade and tap on the three dots icon at the top-right corner of the screen. From the drop-down menu, select Early Adopter Upgrade > Public Beta Registration and tap on the given apply button. Following the prompts, the registration process can be done.
Just to add, next month in May 2025, another eight Vivo and iQOO devices (which includes the Vivo S16 Pro, Vivo S16, Vivo Y200, Vivo Y200 GT, Vivo Pad 2, Vivo Pad Air, iQOO Pad, and iQOO Pad Air) are expected to be made eligible for the OriginOS 5 public beta program in China.
