OxygenOS 13.1.0.581 update rolled out for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro in India
OnePlus unveiled its OnePlus 8 series during the lockdown period, the series included two smartphones- OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. The smartphones went on their first sale in the month of May 2020 meanwhile both devices received a fair number of compliments for delivering solid performance at their price range. To improve the stability of the device and provide protection to them, OnePlus has rolled out its latest software update for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro.
OnePlus 8 & OnePlus 8 Pro software update
The brand has officially announced through its community page that they have started to push an incremental rollout of OxygenOS 13.1.0.581 for the OnePlus 8/8 Pro. Though this latest update is limited to the Indian region only. The latest OxygenOS update has been made available for OnePlus 8 with firmware version IN2011_13.1.0.581(EX01) and for OnePlus 8 Pro with firmware version IN2021_13.1.0.581(EX01). This OTA will be reaching a small percentage of users today while the broader rollout will be starting in a few days as mentioned by the brand.
This latest software update includes the June 2023 Android Security patch to enhance system security along with that the compatibility of the NFC function has been expanded and stability is improved. Also in case the users face any bugs or issues with this update they are advised to open the Google Dialer and type *#800#. You will find a menu that allows you to submit bugs.
