OxygenOS 13.1.0.594 update rolled out for OnePlus 9RT smartphone in India; integrates December 2023 security patch

The Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus is currently rolling out the OxygenOS 14 stable update to its devices globally as well as in India. Along with this major upgrade, the company is also rolling out the latest December 2023 security update for eligible devices. Recently OnePlus Nord 2 received this update and today the update is rolled out for OnePlus 9RT.

OnePlus 9RT: December 2023 security update

OnePlus has rolled out OxygenOS 13.1.0.594 update for OnePlus 9RT. Currently, the update is rolling out in the Indian region only. It arrives with firmware version: MT2111_13.1.0.594 (EX01). It integrates the December 2023 security patch to the device and other than that the update includes no other bug fix or improvement.

Users should keep in mind that this OTA will be incremental and will be reaching a small percentage of users today while the broader rollout will start in a few days. In case the users come across any bugs, they are advised to submit it on a pop-up window that appears after typing *#800# on the Google Dialer.

OnePlus 9RT: Specifications

It comes with a 6.62″ wide E4 120 Hz AMOLED panel with 1080×2400 pixels resolution and 379 ppi. The display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass. The OnePlus 9RT is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset paired with Adreno 660 GPU. It packs up to 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage.

In the camera section, this smartphone boasts a triple camera setup on the rear featuring a 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS support. It is complemented by a 16 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens. The front side of the smartphone sports a 16 MP Sony IMX471 selfie camera. It is backed by a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 65W wired charging.
