OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta Program announced for OnePlus 9/9 Pro and OnePlus 9RT users in India

OnePlus has announced the OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta Testing program for the OnePlus 9/9 Pro and OnePlus 9RT smartphone in India region. This program gives early access to OxygenOS 14 to those who love to test new software. This program invites 500 people to attend this Closed Beta Program. As it’s not a stable version and is still in development make sure to back up the data be patient and tolerate the instability announcement reads.

As of now, third-party apps are not compatible with the Android 14 so you may face some issues like flashbacks, no response, and other issues after upgrading.

Eligibility criteria for the CBT program

  • In order to be eligible for this program you need to be an Indian user of any of the aforementioned

OnePlus smartphones.

  • You should be an active OnePlus Community member
  • You should be willing to report the issue and suggestions to the OnePlus team.

Known issues

  1. Flashback issue when taking photos after turning on High-Efficiency Image.
  2. Progress bar issue of the icon when adjusting the beautification effect bar with the front camera.
  3. Slow update of apps in the Play Store.

How to apply for the CBT program

First, go to “Settings” and then click on “About Device” and tap on “Up to date”. Then tap the icon on the top right and select “Beta Program”.

Thereafter your application will be reviewed and the update will be rolled out to the users. As soon as you receive this update you can download the update. Eligible users will also receive a Telegram invitation link by message so make sure to submit your contact number carefully.
